I joined Dr. Secrier’s laboratory at UCL in June 2019 as research fellow. My research activities involve the bioinformatic analysis of omics data to study the mechanisms of genome dosage and their impact on metastatic transformation. For this aim I analyze large cancer datasets, with a particular focus on oesophageal adenocarcinoma (OAC).

From April 2016 to June 2019 I joined the division of cardiology and the department of research and innovation at the University Hospital of Parma (Italy). My tasks were the analysis of exome-sequencing and transcriptomic data from patients with myocardial infarction. In October 2016, I entered for a short time, in the facility of next-generation sequencing at Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, Thomas Jefferson University (Jefferson Medical School). I have also worked with the MAPS bioinformatic laboratory of the University of Padua on the analysis of cancer genomics data (epigenetics, gene-expression). I previously worked at the National Institute of Molecular Genetics (INGM, Milan) and University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE, Italy).

I have a bachelor and master degree in ‘Pharmaceutical Biotechnology’. and a PhD in Multiscale Modeling, Computational Simulations and Characterization in Material and Life Sciences from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE, Italy).
